Little Santi has not been lucky, we never thought that after so much time he still
she would still be waiting for a family, after everything we already knew she had suffered.
Santi was rescued from a tremendous Noé syndrome in Asturias, we crossed half of Spain
to save more than twelve dogs from a really extreme situation, more than four years ago
years.
Since then, Santi has been waiting at the animal shelter.
Santi has a special sensitivity that makes him a different dog, he has lived through hell in his
previous life that has caused great traumas, some of them deep inside his heart.
Despite the years , the love of the volunteers and the regular consultations with ethologists Santi continues
being very anxious with some aggressive groups, especially with strangers: what
makes it extremely difficult to find a family with a big heart and experience to give
an opportunity.
Santi walks with us without any problem, he is sociable, plays, jumps and allows himself to be manipulated completely
but he is very suspicious of people he does not know and this can last for a few
weeks, until he is confident enough.
It is suitable to live with cats but sometimes living in large groups with other dogs
has caused many problems: his anxiety makes other more balanced dogs not
want in the group, so in the animal shelter he lives alone ☹
He interacts with other dogs (females and males) without problem but always under our
supervision. Despite the great character that Santi sometimes shows, he is a small dog and
it could be dangerous for him to live with other dogs at night in the shelter.
We are sure that in a real house many of these things would be fixed and that
could lead a peaceful and normal life with other dogs in the family. We are sure that
Santi would greatly appreciate a sofa, a bed, something he doesn’t know about and unfortunately we
we cannot offer you.
Sometimes cases of animals with fractures or medical problems seem more urgent but
Santi can only improve his life if we find a family capable of seeing him beyond his limits.

With the volunteers that Santi knows, he is a true love, we are sure that he would be a dog
very faithful and kind to its owners, but in order to get to know them… YOU NEED A
OPPORTUNITY and patience.
Santi is not an easy dog ​​but he deserves to live.
The life that humans gave him in the past has broken his soul and we feel very sad and
responsible for not being able to do more for him in the shelter.
We understand that it is not easy, that we all want perfect furry companions… but Santi
he only understands that he has been waiting in a cage for years, seeing how all his companions
