He is sociable with other male and female dogs but he doesn’t like to be bothered a lot, he prefers to be calm, age things!

Not suitable for living with puppies or high energy dogs. Shows no particular
interest in children.

He walks very well on a leash and although he only learned how to use it here, it looks like he will need the leash for life!

If it is compatible with cats you need further testing. If there are any interested families that
have cats, we can send a video of their reactions!

It is clean in the house. You’ve had a lot to learn since you arrived!

Trueno suffered a lot, his look and his gestures spoke to us of fear, loneliness, mistrust…

One of his eyes is completely blind, it seems to be the result of a serious ulcer that has not been treated in the past, now there is nothing we can do.

We believe his suspicions also had to do with the lack of vision and the severe trauma
he suffered. Now, in a safer environment, his perspective changes.

From the moment we take in a rescued animal, we assume all the maintenance costs, but we greatly appreciate the collaboration of the future families with the costs of basic veterinary expenses. This is how we can continue rescuing and helping.

We do not work with MRW, only with companies animalistic and trustworthy.

Information about the dogs up for adoption

All the dogs are delivered neutered or with commitment to neuter in one of our associated veterinary clinics if they are puppies.
All dogs are delivered with a passport, microchip and vaccines, as well as deworming.
All the dogs are delivered after signing the adoption contract and paying the fees.
For the adoption to be positive, we need you to send us the La Candela dog adoption form and to be able to confirm the environment where the little one would normally live We make a visit at home that with the current restrictions we can summarize to a video call. For us it is very important that you also feel comfortable in the process, we only look for the best option for everyone, so in no case are we going to judge anything.
