RUNNI is a happy and funny dwarf that we still can’t understand how he doesn’t have a family! His breed makes him an active, fun and intelligent dog. It is very very sociable with other dogs: both females and males and with people of all ages, also children! A perfect companion for any loving family Runni loves walks and snooping around, but she is very obedient and rarely strays. Runni arrived at the Sanctuary with Basti, another little one who already has a home a few months ago: both were going to be delivered to the kennel in Seville by their supposed owners and by chance a companion saw the scene and interceded so that they would not end up in a cage. She called us desperate and we opened our doors and our hearts. Hoping for to find for him the home he deserves. He is an active and happy dog, a perfect adventure companion! someone you’re going to love a lot and that will give you twice as much love! His story is like that of many podencos in Spain. Curri would have been used for hunting and we do not know why one day he did not return with the rest. He spent weeks wandering around the Sanctuary until some volunteers were able to catch him and show him that there was nothing to fear, that just that day, a new life began. Since then Curri has been waiting for a real home, he is an incredible dog and he deserves to give all that love he has inside.

Adoption fees

From the moment we take in a rescued animal, we assume all the maintenance costs, but we greatly appreciate the collaboration of the future families with the costs of basic veterinary expenses. This is how we can continue rescuing and helping.

Don’t worry, there are ways you can adopt a kitten in our shelter since there are specific animal transport companies that could send it to you.

We do not work with MRW, only with companies animalistic and trustworthy.

Transportation costs are separate from the adoption costs and should be borne by the adopter.

Information about the dogs up for adoption

All the dogs are delivered neutered or with commitment to neuter in one of our associated veterinary clinics if they are puppies.
All dogs are delivered with a passport, microchip and vaccines, as well as deworming.
All the dogs are delivered after signing the adoption contract and paying the fees.
For the adoption to be positive, we need you to send us the La Candela dog adoption form and to be able to confirm the environment where the little one would normally live We make a visit at home that with the current restrictions we can summarize to a video call. For us it is very important that you also feel comfortable in the process, we only look for the best option for everyone, so in no case are we going to judge anything.
