History and personality:

There are special dogs. And then there is Chata. She is one of those dogs who, when you meet her, makes it hard to understand how she still doesn’t have a family. She has a way of looking at you, of being by your side and of enjoying life that wins anyone over instantly.

Chata is happy by nature. She always seems to be smiling, always ready to share a walk, a moment of play or simply to accompany you wherever you go. She has the energy and enthusiasm of a puppy when it is time to play, but she also knows how to relax and rest quietly. She is an incredibly well-balanced companion.

She loves being close to people. She is so loyal that she can walk off-lead, always attentive to being by your side. And at the same time, she also manages perfectly well on her own when needed. She has that wonderful ability to adapt to any situation. She lives happily alongside other dogs, male or female, and other animals too. Her noble, patient and affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for any type of family, including those with children.

What she needs:

All she needs now is a home where she can carry on doing what she does best: loving. Chata doesn’t need grand things to be happy — just a family to share walks, play, cuddles and many years of love with. We are certain that whoever meets Chata will not just be adopting a dog. They will be taking home an absolute treasure.

Veterinary information:

Spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and with an EU passport. Tested positive for leishmaniasis, fully controlled with daily medication. Otherwise enjoying a good quality of life.

Adoption fees

From the moment we take in a rescued animal, we assume all the maintenance costs, but we greatly appreciate the collaboration of the future families with the costs of basic veterinary expenses. This is how we can continue rescuing and helping.

Puppy: 90 Euros

Adult: 150 Euros
(including spaying and neutering)

Don’t worry, there are ways you can adopt a kitten in our shelter since there are specific animal transport companies that could send it to you.

We do not work with MRW, only with companies animalistic and trustworthy.

Transportation costs are separate from the adoption costs and should be borne by the adopter.

Information about the dogs up for adoption

All the dogs are delivered neutered or with commitment to neuter in one of our associated veterinary clinics if they are puppies.
All dogs are delivered with a passport, microchip and vaccines, as well as deworming.
All the dogs are delivered after signing the adoption contract and paying the fees.
For the adoption to be positive, we need you to send us the La Candela dog adoption form and to be able to confirm the environment where the little one would normally live We make a visit at home that with the current restrictions we can summarize to a video call. For us it is very important that you also feel comfortable in the process, we only look for the best option for everyone, so in no case are we going to judge anything.
