History and personality:

Zion arrived at the shelter as barely a baby, together with his mum Ziva and his sister Zari. The three of them were found in the rain, by the side of a road, trying to survive together. Nearby, Sam also appeared — the dog we believe to be his father. Fortunately, Zion was able to grow up surrounded by his family during his first months of life. Thanks to his mum’s love and protection, he grew into a sweet, balanced and gentle puppy.

In time, his sister Zari found a wonderful family, and mum Ziva also began a new life in the perfect home. But Zion is still waiting for his turn. After saying goodbye to them, he began sharing his days with Sam here at the shelter, and they barely needed a few minutes to become friends. In Sam and the other dogs, Zion found the confidence he needed to open up to the world.

He is a sensitive dog who can seem a little unsure in new situations at first, but as soon as he feels accompanied, the fear disappears quickly. He observes, learns and trusts fast. He is not your typical unruly puppy: he has his moments of play and curiosity, but he also loves calm, cuddles and being close to those he cares about. He is a noble, fun and very special companion, one of those dogs who gives back love multiplied.

What he needs:

All he needs now is a forever family — a home where he can grow up loved and safe for always. If you think you could be that person for Zion, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and with an EU passport.

Adoption fees

From the moment we take in a rescued animal, we assume all the maintenance costs, but we greatly appreciate the collaboration of the future families with the costs of basic veterinary expenses. This is how we can continue rescuing and helping.

(including spaying and neutering)

Don’t worry, there are ways you can adopt a kitten in our shelter since there are specific animal transport companies that could send it to you.

We do not work with MRW, only with companies animalistic and trustworthy.

Transportation costs are separate from the adoption costs and should be borne by the adopter.

Information about the dogs up for adoption

All the dogs are delivered neutered or with commitment to neuter in one of our associated veterinary clinics if they are puppies.
All dogs are delivered with a passport, microchip and vaccines, as well as deworming.
All the dogs are delivered after signing the adoption contract and paying the fees.
For the adoption to be positive, we need you to send us the La Candela dog adoption form and to be able to confirm the environment where the little one would normally live We make a visit at home that with the current restrictions we can summarize to a video call. For us it is very important that you also feel comfortable in the process, we only look for the best option for everyone, so in no case are we going to judge anything.
