History and personality:

Séneca was found alone, walking the streets, his body exhausted and silently asking for help. We were alerted because it was clear something was wrong. Tests revealed what we had feared: a highly advanced abdominal tumour compromising nearly all of his vital organs. A CT scan confirmed that, given its size, how long it had been developing and the internal damage caused, the mass is inoperable. His age and physical condition mean that surgery would carry too great a risk to his life.

With that, we made the most respectful decision we could: to accompany him through palliative care, with one single goal — that he lives free from pain, with dignity and as comfortably as possible.

He is a being of light. A gentle old boy who, despite everything, still finds joy in the simplest things: a quiet walk, a stroke, a soft bed. His calm and wisdom touch us deeply. He is, without a doubt, a teacher to all of us.

What he needs:

Séneca will need medication and specialist nutrition for the time he has left. We are deeply grateful to be by his side during this chapter, and to finally give him everything he was missing for so long: care, respect and love. Séneca will never be alone again.

Above all, we are looking for sponsors who want to be part of his journey and help us cover his treatments, medication and special diet. Because every life matters. And Séneca deserves, more than ever, to be loved and cared for until the very end.

Vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and with an EU passport. Currently receiving palliative treatment.

Princess Star was hunted, run over and left to fend for herself. We were told that she would never walk again. She has 6 operations and two years of rehabilitation. Love and affection have made the impossible, possible. She does not control her sphincters and has a special diet, but she no longer uses a wheelchair to be mobile.

She is happy with us, we want to offer her a full life until her retirement, we can improve her facilities.

When those whom Akira considered his family became aware of her injury, they decided to leave her at the door of our sanctuary.

Akira suffers from a spinal cord injury that prevents him from walking normally, and he has undergone surgery on several occasions.

She is a happy dog who enjoys her days surrounded by love.

Chocolate

Chocolate was thrown from a moving car on a rainy day. Some neighbors were present at the time and took her in for a few days at her house.

A soul without a chip and with very severe coordination problems, but she continues with courage and strength. She is someone who wants to fight, who wants to live.

She loves the human warmth, the volunteers fell in love with her in just a few hours, her gaze, her strength, her will to live have made us feel a deep admiration for this brave woman.

Hundreds of people followed his story, accompanied his steps together with ours in the battle for his life.

It has been almost four years since we had the good fortune to meet, a teacher for all of us: someone who knows a lot about living and very little about fear. Spirit was shot, leaving him with a broken jaw.

It has been years of many operations, many victories but also many falls.

Spirit is happy today, he has the life he deserves and will never again suffer the horrors of his past.

As soon as we received the notice, we ran to the place where she was and took her to the sanctuary infirmary to give her basic care until in the morning we take her urgently to @vitalcancv to learn more about her injuries. She can’t walk alone, she seemed to have a broken hip. You only have to look at her eyes to feel that she needed help, you only have to think about what she must have suffered so much time alone until the girls arrived to want to give her everything she deserves. Unfortunately after the tests her hip was not broken, that is not good news in principle, there is the option that there is an injury to the intervertebral disc that cannot be seen on x-rays or that she has a neurological problem but for that we will have to wait for the next results. While this little girl needs all the support in the world.

ARIMA was attacked by 3 other dogs from her family. Her family called us and asked for help, when we attended her she was in a very serious condition, three of her limbs and one of her eyes were compromised. We immediately took her to the hospital and began with the operations and care that she needed.

Arima will stay with us to give her the care and attention she needs. She has an immense desire to live, she is a true fighter and she has stolen our hearts.
