History and personality:

Not long ago, this young tricolour pup arrived at the shelter after appearing alone in the village. He made his way to a small local business, as if he somehow knew he could find food and a little help there. And that is how his path crossed with ours.

He won us over from the very first moment. He has an enormous curiosity about the world around him and an endless desire to share moments with those close to him. His way of moving is gentle and calm, but his heart is full of enthusiasm for everything still to come. And that gaze… those honey-coloured eyes look at you in a way that melts your heart instantly.

What he needs:

Given his young age, we are looking for a responsible and committed family who will accompany him as he grows, allow him to socialise, explore and become the wonderful companion he already promises to be. Whoever opens their home to him will be bringing home a true treasure.

Vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and with an EU passport. To be neutered shortly.

Historia y personalidad:

Hugo es un perro muy especial, de esos que han pasado por la oscuridad pero aún así siguen guardando luz dentro. Fue encontrado atado con su propia correa a un palo, completamente solo, sin nadie alrededor. No sabemos cuánto tiempo llevaba allí ni qué había vivido antes, pero su miedo hablaba por sí solo.

Al llegar al refugio estaba aterrorizado; durante un tiempo era imposible tocarle sin que se asustara y saliera huyendo. Pero poco a poco, con paciencia, respeto y mucho cariño, Hugo ha ido cambiando. Hoy ya no es aquel perro paralizado por el miedo: ahora viene a saludarte por la mañana, disfruta muchísimo de sus paseos, le encantan las chuches y empieza a descubrir el maravilloso mundo de los mimos. Cuando ve a las personas que lo cuidan se llena de alegría, casi como un cachorrito, con una mirada llena de amor que emociona.

Aun así, Hugo sigue siendo un perro sensible que necesita un entorno tranquilo. Los movimientos bruscos o los ruidos inesperados todavía pueden asustarlo, por eso buscamos para él una familia paciente, de manos suaves y rutinas calmadas. Un hogar donde no tenga que demostrar nada y donde, por fin, pueda sentirse seguro.

Con otros perros puede presentarse de forma intensa al principio, pero después convive correctamente. Ha compartido espacios con machos y hembras de distintos tamaños, e incluso en ocasiones invita al juego. Ver cómo un alma que ha sufrido tanto aún conserva esas ganas de disfrutar nos llena el corazón.

Hugo merece conocer la vida que siempre debió tener: una casa, una cama cómoda, paseos tranquilos y personas que lo quieran tal y como es. Detrás de su historia dura hay un perro noble, agradecido y lleno de amor esperando su oportunidad.

A few days ago, when a volunteer arrived at the shelter, she found Mango and her partner Mora sitting at the door: both were waiting for someone to arrive, totally confused, not knowing what had happened.

Possibly someone arrived with their car and left them at the door.

Mango is a 5-year-old male Labrador and just by looking at his face you can see that he has had a very hard life: it seems that years ago he suffered a serious blow to his head that has been left a little deformed, you can also see chronic edema in his right eye also caused by this old trauma.

They are old injuries that have no cure but do not cause any type of disturbance so that you can lead a normal life.

He is a kind and friendly boy who deserves to be loved and cared for like never before. His eyes reflect the hardness of the life he has had to live until now.

He is sociable with male and female dogs, also very sociable with people (men, women and children). In the first tests we have done, he is compatible with the cats in our cat flap, but if the family that wants to adopt him has cats, we would do new tests and videos so that the family itself valued.

Mango is a very polite and obedient boy who loves to walk on a leash and receive lots of cuddles, an ideal companion for an active and kind family that wants to know the true love that only animals are capable of giving.

Someone who can fill your life with joy, someone who needs to be seen and who needs an opportunity to give all the love he has inside.

Sonic is a wonderful dog who has had too much bad luck.
He came to the shelter years ago and after patiently waiting a wonderful volunteer who
lived and worked with us for six months completely fell in love with him and decided to
br/>adopt him forever.
So they set out on a wonderful journey: him, her and another dog.
The volunteer girl returned home to Italy with Sonic and they have been very happy these months:
Sonic is a great dog! Which made it all so easy.
Unfortunately this girl has serious health problems at the moment and her family has
brought Sonic back to the Haven where we’ve given him a bittersweet welcome again.
/>We didn’t expect to find a family for him again, because he already had a perfect one.
But life sometimes plays tricks on us and unfortunately SONIC is waiting for another
opportunity.
He It is a very sociable dog with all kinds of animals, also with cats. He has lived with his
family surrounded by other animals such as horses and birds and they tell us that everything was going great.
He walks great on a leash and is very clean, he is used to living with his family.
Sonic he is a funny and playful dog, sociable with adults and children too!
We only hope that this new stage for SONIC will be short, that soon someone notices him and
returns what life has already given him he has stolen twice.

Belinda was rescued from Valverde’s kennel days before being euthanized.
Before her owner had been a hunter who one day decided to abandon her forever
in the kennel, a horrible place.
Belinda He had never known human love before arriving at the animal shelter, he was
extremely scared, even aggressive.
Little by little, in these months, we have been working with a lot of love and patience and nowBelinda is very happy and sociable, especially with the people she meets.

RUNNI is a happy and funny dwarf that we still can’t understand how he doesn’t have a family! His breed makes him an active, fun and intelligent dog. It is very very sociable with other dogs: both females and males and with people of all ages, also children! A perfect companion for any loving family Runni loves walks and snooping around, but she is very obedient and rarely strays. Runni arrived at the Sanctuary with Basti, another little one who already has a home a few months ago: both were going to be delivered to the kennel in Seville by their supposed owners and by chance a companion saw the scene and interceded so that they would not end up in a cage. She called us desperate and we opened our doors and our hearts. Hoping for to find for him the home he deserves. He is an active and happy dog, a perfect adventure companion! someone you’re going to love a lot and that will give you twice as much love! His story is like that of many podencos in Spain. He spent weeks wandering around the Sanctuary until some volunteers were able to catch him and show him that there was nothing to fear, that just that day, a new life began. The life of Renée and her sister Kenya was a true hell: they lived tied from birth to a leash barely one meter under a roof and with nothing else.
They ate pieces of bread and drank the water that the neighbor (thanks we were able to rescue her) she gave her at night.

Chester crossed our lives by chance…and how lucky we were!
We were driving down the road and we saw him on the side of the road. We only had to stop the vehicle and open the door for him to understand that we had come to help him.
He quickly entered the car and into our hearts.
